Get on a treadmill that counts calories, you think they just put up different numbers randomly? Just unreal.

Work = Force x Displacement

What's your defintion of work, then?

You're not just displacing your body. You're extracting energy from storage, you're moving your body up and down against gravity, evaporating water, etc.
