firefox, i love chrome but it has a couple of stupid quirks that seem like they will never be fixed

Use whatever you want to use. Why does it matter what other people are using?

This. The obsession that some people develop with their favourite web browser is staggering and embarrassing.

Maybe he was just curious. Should have included a poll though. I will agree the people that are obsessed with their favorite browser to the point they would think you are inferior for using something else are pretty ridiculous though.

Firefox, because it is the easiest to customize and get working exactly the way I want it. I remember trying IE9 and being immediately impressed with the browsing speed, but it just felt too unfamiliar so I went back to FF. At work I'm stuck with IE8 (for the longest time it was IE6).

opera. although some of the rather more awesome extensions i've found cause it to crash
for the first time since i've started using it basically. 🙁 otoh, the specific extension has become invaluable. i can't give it up now...

works on almost anything!)

Waterfox (64-bit firefox) 5.0 beta 3
67 addons and 33 stylish scripts, but just as smooth as chrome

I use Firefox. I switch between Chrome and Firefox but Firefox is my favorite. I never use Internet Explorer. What is the safest browser?

I feel comfortable with IE8 I dont like IE9 but I have to learn Ie9 all over again. all browsers out there are NOT 100 percent safest and they have some flaws to iron out.

Opera 99.99% of the time - never been presented with a reason to not use it, been using it since version 3 or 4, back when you had to pay for it and I did just that

i use IE for 2 sites. 1 bank and 1 CC that don't work correctly in opera or FF, and i only visit those like once a month

I've always used IE ... don't like getting all political about a browser. As far as security just make sure you're running as a limited account and that you have software restriction policies setup and then it does not matter if there are exploits.

anyone know how to force the browser cache in opera to a specific folder/drive?

i love opera but want the cache and all temp junk to write to my mechanical HD, not the SSD

IE8. I tried 9 for a few days, but I can't stand it. What annoys me is that one day I'll have to use it. Until then, I'm sticking with 8. I'm very disappointed in 9.

Edit:

I decided to give 9 another try since resistance is futile. I'm slowly getting used to it. Should enjoy it by the time 10 is out.
