Maxthon/IE. I was on the FF bandwagon for a long time, but I got tired of having to reinstall all the damn extension everytime a browser version update came along....and even then most of the time it'd break somehow and I'd have to start from scratch.

Haven't tried the free Opera yet, and very curious about how IE7 will be.

[edit]
Hmm....using the new Opera right now. Kinda like it more than previous versions. I just might make a switch.

Opera 8, no ads anymore. That's really cool. I like it but for whatever reason, I find some sites don't work great with it so sometimes I use IE6. But when I want to use a proxy server, I use Netscape 7.02

I've used IE, Safari, Navigator, and FF. I put FF because that's my choice browser. I didn't like IE because it was too demanding, I'd open around 20-30 browsers while researching and the computer would slow down(or crash/freeze) on me. As for Safari and Navigator, I only used those because I had to at my school. I don't have much to say for either one, they weren't bad, they weren't great.

As for firefox, I love it. I know there are other plugins or browser that have similar features but this is one good package: popup block, tabbed windows, built in google search, and most of all, it doesn't suck out the life of your system's resources.

IE ftw

used FF a while ago, it was complete ******, its probably better now.

but i have absolutely no problems with IE, so im happy.

Well the things is are we saying everyone here is just running one OS with this Poll?

I run Opera 8.5 in XP much better then all the memory leaks of Firefox, even the newer beta version seems troubled with them. But I run Firefox in Gentoo and it's not giving me any problems there.

I'm glad Opera is back and free, it's running circles around Firefox at the moment. 🙂

Firefox.

Tried Opera when it wasn't free, it was a bloated POS. When it was free, it was a lot slimmer, but I didn't like the way it imported bookmarks (and no, I am not readding all my bookmarks).

Norm

Opera is not bloated.

Mainly Opera. Use either IE or Firefox for any website that doesn't work well in Opera (like FilePlanet).

Fileplanet works perfectly fine for me in Opera, always has.

Or you could get Opera, which did all that a half a decade before Firefox came out. It's faster, more secure, and you don't need plugins like Firefox does. It doesn't take anymore resources than FF.

I didn't have any problems with IE either. Opera just does things that make browsing faster, which is why I switched a couple years ago. Tabbed browsing, mouse gestures, smart account saving, mail client, etc etc.
