Opera.
Things load 10x faster than IE.
It has a built in DL manager that supports resume
It has built in E-Mail.
Uses less memory.
Its just plain better.
IE6, vast majority of people use it, meaning vast majority of sites will be tailored to IE, and I'm too lazy to hassle with uninstalling a windows component in XP 😉
Other: Konqueror.
Starts very fast, renders all pages I visit just fine.
Opera can't get look of my theme and Mozilla starts too slow for me (2-3sec.)...
For windows I always used Opera.
IE 6 on Windows, unless I'm at work. I have to use Netscape 4.x, Netscape 6.x, Netscape 7, Mozilla, and Opera at work because I have to make sure code renders properly in all browsers.
On Mac, I use Camino, formerly Chimera. Safari just isn't good enough yet by my standards.
I agree tabbed browsing is the way to go..... so I use Mozilla.
I don't trust IE or any variant thereof. My personal firewall is set to prevent IE from having any network access.
I was using Phoenix, but I just tried out MyIE2 and wow! This is amazing! The snappyness and qucikness of IE with all the options (and more) of Phoenix. AMAZING! I suggest *EVERYONE* try out MyIE2, it is blowing my away! Bye bye longtime friend Phoenix, I won't miss you though!
