I know I know it's certainly not the first such poll but I thought that with the launch of Google's chrome browser, the maturation of FF3.0, and the release of IE 8 that I'd take another community snapshot to see what people are using. I've been a loyal FF user for many years now but I'm not a fanboy and have considered switching to other browsers several times but never made the change. Seems that FF 3 while still very very good still looses out to some other browsers in several areas like memory management, compatibility, page rending speed, etc... It's still me favourite for now though, especially with all my extensions loaded!

I debated adding version numbers to the poll as it makes a huge difference what version of a specific browser you prefer using (eg I prefer IE 3.0 over FF3.0 [let's hope no one does]) but that would have made things too cluttered. Post what version you use.

Yeah I must say the few reviews I've read have me very interested I've just been lazy and have trouble pulling myself away from FF.
 
IE... i never felt the need to change.
someone convince me what firefox or chrome can bring to the table.
IE is simple and it works.

Chrome requires you to run the bloated GoogleUpdate.exe service at all times, even when Chrome isn't running.
 
FF3, best browser out there, period.

I've installed Chrome though, and some aspects of it, I like, but I will reserve any judgment until its no longer beta.
 
I use ff and chrome. I have a bunch of tabs I usually leave up in FF so when I don't feel like waiting for all those sites to load, I load up chrome 🙂
