What brand of wrist brace do you use?

I figure everyone here wears at least one brace on their wrists, right? It's not just me, right guys? ... Guys?

I've worn through my last doctor-prescribed brace and picking up the Medi Wrist Brace and ExoForm Carpal Tunnel brace to try.

What has helped you the most? Between arthritis and computer use, my right wrist is completely shot.

I actually switched to my left hand about 6 months ago.
I mouse left handed when I have a desktop mouse but haven't been able to train myself to do that with the laptop pad. What's worse for me than the mouse though are the arrow keys. I work in Excel and XML all day long and I live on the arrow keys. 🙁

I popped my elbow out on Thursday and I haven't even put it in a sling. Currently rocking a sprained and swollen elbow with strange sensations in my fingers and forearm. Not sure I'd use a wrist brace lol :|

This kind.

The braces didn't do anything for me, and I'd tried several. Unfortunately, my crappy wrist's wussing out on me meant I had to give up this awesome device. Lots of buttons, and the most excellent scroll wheel ever to grace any mouse. :\
With the Evoluent, the wrist pain went away within a day, but it's just not as accurate to use. Because of the direction of the clicking pressure, it makes the mouse move a bit unless you've got good manual coordination - you need to apply opposing pressure with your thumb to keep the mouse from moving. My coordination...not so good.
The next problem: My index finger, responsible for all the clicking, is starting to complain. Short of switching to a left-handed mouse and trying that, I'm not sure what the heck to do about the index finger, other than beat it with a hammer until it stops complaining at me.

Other options I'd like:
- Surgery? Maybe then I can go back to my good old G5.
- Fiber optic interlink to my brain to control the computer directly.
- Invent my own interface device.
:\

For helping with keyboard use...not sure. I'd have tried these things if they weren't one thousand goddamn dollars.😵 I'm thinking that they never heard of plastic injection molding, and instead have each component lovingly hand-crafted by the Walton family.

i need something , i have trigger finger on both hands and my right arm is aching every night by the time i get off the computer

Damn, I didn't think most people had all these problems.

I have been using a mouse before 1990 and don't have any things that make me have to strap on a device to allow me to be comfortable.

I did blow out an elbow and had to use a brace for about 6 months doing deadlifts though.

The mouse isn't what bothers me, it's the arrow keys and related keyboarding. That and the rheumatoid arthritis complicating everything.

That sucks that the mouse isn't your problem. I'm the opposite where staying on the arrow keys and num pad is fine. I switched away from the mouse (except for playing games) and alternate between a trackball and a pen tablet at work.

I like this one:

I really hated having a lot of stiff material between my thumb and index finger and anything else would be uncomfortable. Along those lines, I seemed to like the "arthritis" type gloves more than the "carpel tunnel" gloves. From the braces you linked though, it seems like you need more support than the ones I like might be able to give you.
