What book(s) are you reading right now?

My list:

Freakonomics - Steven Levitt
Really old, I know. I'm just taking micro- and macroeconomics so I'm interested.

Time and Again - Jack Finney
I read 11/22/63 by Stephen King and he said that this book was instrumental to him writing his, so I picked it up. Slow start, but really good now that I'm half-way through.

The Generals - Thomas Ricks
Being a former Marine (I know, Boomer, once and always), I'm constantly fascinated by military topics. Especially how generals don't get sacked, anymore. They get micromanaged. Such an interesting book.

Dynamics of Violence in Central Africa - Rene Lemarchand
Always had a bit of a heart for the Great Lakes region of Africa.

Romans 1-8: Commentary - John MacArthur
Continuing my bible studies.

So...how about you??

Haven't seen you posting in awhile, Dain! Hope all is well.

Between the Kindle HD I got for Christmas, regular books, and my Android phone, I've got quite a few going:

On Killing - Lt. Col. Dave Grossman
Strange Victory: Hitler's Conquest of France - Ernest R. May
Inferno: The World at War, 1939-1945 - Max Hastings
Ivan's War: Life and Death in the Red Army, 1939-1945 - Catherine Merridale
Dreams from My Father - Barack Obama (I read "Obama's America by D'Souza recently so I decided to read this as a complement)
We Were Soldiers Once... and Young - Harold Moore & Joe Galloway

I have a huge backlog that I'll probably never be able to finish but right now I'm working through:

'Salems Lot: Stephen King
Team of Rivals: Doris Goodwin
No Higher Honor: Condoleezza Rice
Casualties of Credit. The English Financial Revolution: Carl Weenerlind

A collection of pulp stories I got from Amazon for my Kindle. There's like 100 stories for 1.99 i think and there are 3 volumes of these.

American Sniper by Chris Kyle. It's been on my Nook forever and I never got around to reading it, only got motivated by his name being in the news recently. Not as good as I had hoped. I've read several other books by SEALs about being SEALs and they're all better.

Belgariad- started but stalled because I haven't been home much in the last week or so. I might just finish it today.

Brave New World. Haven't picked it up in awhile though.

You're so wonderfully pneumatic! You must be an Alpha Double Plus.

Alphas wear gray clothes and they are so smart. They work dreadfully hard because they're so clever. I'm glad I'm a Beta, so I don't have to work so hard.

God I love that book.

I'm reading Midnight's Children.

Finished Cloud Atlas about two weeks ago. Not bad, but some of the storylines just didn't interest me at all.

Just started Scalzi's Redshirts. Amusing so far.
