Nothing right now other than college texts, but I think I might pick up The Art of War by Sun Tzu. Has anyone read it?

I read excerpts for a modern strategy class once. Not something I'd choose to read for pleasure. Not as bad as Clauzewitz's On War...

I was reading the summary of it on Amazon and it said that broken up into small, concise parts. And it's only 94 pages, so I could get it read over spring break.

Wow, if that last line isn't a statement on my personality, I don't know what is. :D

The Eye of the World, by Robert Jordan (Wheel of Time series)
I haven't read WOT in over 2 years, so I figured I'd relive old memories one more time :)
Oh, and if you've never heard of the Wheel of Time and are curious about it, here's the publisher's site for WOT. There's a vast wealth of information on WOT which can be found at various fan sites, including wotmania and one of the best WOT sites on the web dragonmount
On a lighter-note for any of you WOT fans out there: RJ has claimed Book 12 will be the last book in the series for some time now, but he reiterated it once again here and stated that actual plot progress will take place in Book 11 (the book that is currently being written and expected to be released sometime next year).

Whitecloak: have you ever read Otherland before? That is, IMHO, one of the best sci-fi/fantasy series EVAR!!!!11 I simply could not put down any of those books... They just keep drawing you in deeper and deeper, whether it be an attachment to the characters or speculation on what's going to happen next, you'll find something in this series you'll love.

I started reading The Castle by Kafka but got extremely bored with the writing style and content and had to retire it after 100 pages. I started reading Mother Night by Vonnegut instead.

Just finished King Rat by James Clavel. Its about allied prisoners in a Japanese POW camp in 1945, very good.

just started More than courage, don't know author. Its about a special forces team in Syria, post-9/11. I don't really like the guys writing style, and think i am gonna stop.

I am going to start Tai Pan by Clavel, its supposed to be a classic.

By Way of Deception: The Making and Unmaking of a Mossad Officer- By Victor Ostrovsky

Halfway-through right now, excellent book so far. It's over 10 years old though
