WHat Boards Support DDR400 (OCZ DDR 512MB PC-3200 )

no motherboards are that speed, and no AMD cpus are. also, if you're gonna get pc3200 make sure you do NOT buy from ocz. they are a phony company.

however, i'm guessing most boards that support ddr should support it. just not operate at its frequency

OCZ is garbage made by criminals. If you must have PC3200, try Mushkin or Corsair.

I'll chime in. Stay away from OCZ. Now, PC3200 (AKA DDR400). Its just a math lesson. To run DDR400 speeds you need the right combo of FSB and mem ratio.

I'll use the new i845G chipset as an example.

150 FSB x 2 (DDR) = 300. 3:4 mem ratio = 300 x 1.333 = DDR400
160 FSB x 2 (DDR) = 320. 4:5 mem ration = 320 x 1.25 = DDR400

Well you can touch it if you have taken precautions against electrostatic build up but don't spend your money in buying it.
