What BIOS for your Asus A8V?

What BIOS are you guys running on your Asus A8V mobo's?

I've been running 1008, but I've been getting some random freezes in windows/games. Everything just stops for a second and then resumes like nothing was wrong. Sounds like Asus needs to work out some kinks w/the FX-55's, imho.

Anyone know what's new with the beta 1009.2's?

My ASUS Mobo hangs when I play games too.. =(

Below is what I have

AMD 64 3000+
Kingston DDR400 1gig
Radeon 9800 Pro
RAID off.

Unless I missed it, what CPU are you running? Newcastle or Winchester? The higher BIOS are only to support Winchester and have a ton of problems as you can read on the overclockers forum
Overclockers forum. Go with 1007 unless you are on a 90nm die (Winchester). There are problems with lower than 1007 because it will boot in in single channel memory configuration. See here:

You the man! Go look at the chart I linked to about the bios and it shows what chips are supported by what BIOS revision. You're probably okay by that chart. Stick with what works!
