What bios for P4B266-C ????

I have bios 1002 in my new board but have heard people talking about 1005. On the Asus USA site it only shows the 1005 under P4B266. Under P4B266-C only shows 1001. Can 1005 be used with the C style boards?

Unless you are having a specific problem there is really no reason to potentially render your board useless on the off chance that you will have a bad flash. Rarely does flashing the bios improve performance.
 
Asus havn't update the BIOS for P4b266-c yet. Your 1002 is the most current one.

No, you can not do that. Someone did that before, but got stability problem with the P4b266 BIOS. Do a search at www.asusboards.com, you will find more interesting stuff.
