I was on my first drink when I poured it down the drain.

I took up drinking.

how old are you anyway, i thought you were about 15...?

You honestly thought I was 15? I'm 18.

then there's no way you are in any sort of position to maturely consider never drinking again.

Get over yourself, drinking is a brilliant social activity that can be enjoyed in moderation or to excess...and you are being incredibly immature & short sighted closing the door on all that after ONE illegal drink at the tender age of 18 😛

After one illegal drink? What gives you the impression this was my first time drinking? I've had alcohol poisoning twice already, I'm sure that's enough to tell you how much I used to drink.

I should have phrased my OP better. I quit getting drunk. 😀 Sure, I'll probably have a beer here and there with some friends, but I don't think I'll be getting trashed anymore. The only exception is New Years. 😀

Good for you! If not drinking is how you choose to control the alcohol, more power to you.
I choose to not drink also.🙂

If you can't control your drinking, then you kinda suck & clearly have little or no self control.

How is that more power to him? It's like saying, 'oohhh i'm scared of something, but instead of being a man & dealing with it, i'll hide in the closet from it with my blankie' 😛

Ya, rly powerful display of self control there

It isn't there because i'm in a bad mood & being an asshole, i apologise 😱

I quit drinking too. It's been about 2 months now i think. No real reason, i wasn't an alcoholic, although if i drank, it was to get a buzz (usually).

What i really wish i could do though is give up meat and go vegetarian... but man, i love meat so much. I only lasted a year as a vegetarian.

I've not been wasting money on strip bars, then again I am no longer in the USA.
Big change in my life 😛

yes, and also started saving up from my current salary.

I guess thats about all thus far.

About six months ago, I quit smoking, stop drinking ( drink about once a month now), quit my loser job, picked my as$ up in school, and got a better paying internship, and got back in the gym.

This thread has been completely derailed. 🙂

I starting eating right and going to the gym... and it has opened a ton of new doors for me.
