I'm a sort of a newbie on OC'ing vid. card, so I don't want to do any extreme OC'ing, just a little that will boost performance a bit, and keep the system stable.
So what will be better, in terms of safe and easy to use? and where do I get the latest version of it?
Thanks.

oh.. and I have another question. Is it possible to mod 6600GT to quadro, and if so then how, and what are the expected performance gains?

I oc with the settings portion of the XG 71.84 drivers *like coolbits*.
They can be downloaded here.

I only use riva to monitor temps, watch for core speedchanges etc.

As far as the modding goes, I have never heard of any types of bios flashes doing the 6600GT any good. I think most people are sticking w/ stock and oc'ing.

Cool bits is the easiest thing to use. I'd suggest getting the latest NVidia drivers and merging a Coolbits.reg file to enable overclocking. Never heard of a quadro mod.

I found coolbits easier to use for basic OC functions, but you'll probably want RivaTuner if you want to do some more advanced tweaking.
