What benchmark scores sound right for this comp?

My specs:

Asus K8N-E deluxe (with the AI overclocking, Nforce3 250GB)
A64 3400+ ClawHammer (Socket 754, the one with more L2 cache and I think 200 less mhz than the other 3400+ core)
1024 Mbytes OCZ Platinum Rev. 2 DDR-SDRAM
ATI Powercolor x800 pro
74 gig 10k rpm WD raptor

My system clock in CPU-z:

What the hell does this mean in SuperPi?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v40/xnobodyTS/superPi.jpg

SuperPi: 35 Minutes, 3 seconds.

3dmark 03: 10320

3dmark 05: 4700

Aquamark: 64,507

My CPU is definitely performing lower than it should be. I just checked on Tom's Hardware Guide, it says an Athlon 64 Clawhammer 3400+ should get around 4434 CPU marks in 3dmark 05, but mine only gets 4153, which is lower performance wise than the pentium 4 3 ghz northwood, and barely better than an athlon 64 3000+ newcastle core. WTF?

Quick question: would clocking my AGP slot clock multiplier to 75 mhz be damaging to my card, or just unstable and cause crashes? Also, what would you advise I set it to, should I keep it at 66 (default) or raise it a little?
Aquamark scores:

I also get like 153 fps on the counter-strike source demo, and when I'm in a large game on a big map that game runs at like 40 fps, which is unacceptable. Did I just buy crappy parts or something?

keep your agp frequency at 66mhz, thats a nice system you got there I don't know why you are worried

It just seems like the CPU is running slower than it should. I don't know why, but I feel like it should be getting better FPS than it does.

You could try using cpuz to make sure your CPU is running at the correct speed...

Edit: Or check it in the bios. You might want to get cpuz anyway because it gives you all sorts of other information about your MB chipset, RAM, etc.

If they weren't using your MB or RAM some variances are to be expected. Besides, their test setup was probably a clean windows install with no HD fragmentation or programs running in the background. Unless you did a clean install, you should expect somewhat lower scores than the ones they posted.

your 03 score looks a little low. Your system should be getting over 12000
(comparing it to my slightly slower system that get 12000)

He has an unlocked OCed 6800, I'm not sure how that compares to an x800pro.

It's still apple to oranges, but I get ~54,000 in aquamark with a AXP @ 2331mhz and XFX 6600GT @ 550/1100. All I know is that your score should be considerably better than mine.

It would be nice if someone with a Radeon x800pro would post some scores. :frown:

All I know is, I must have done something wrong when building this PC. Maybe I didn't hook up the magical "fast speed" cable.

first off, don't screw with the agp freq. completely unneccesary.

secondly, you're scores are not that low at all. you don't even say whats running on your system. some programs are hogs and will kill benches. alot of the scores you see are submitted by people on a fresh boot, minimal services, turned of AV etc, not to mention alot of them set their vga settings to "best performance" and such.

finally, if you want to oc, you need to do it in the bios manually, so you know what is being changed and see what effect it has on your system. do you know what your ram timings are at? have you run cpuz?

My ram timings are 2-2-2-5, 1T. I have no idea what 1T means. But I manually set it to that, and it seems fine. Also, I have run cpuZ. What am I looking for in that?

Also, any word on my AGP voltage? Is 1.5 default/stock for x800 pro?
