Safeway used to sell "Plain Wrap" beer. It was a plain can, with just the word BEER on it. I'd imagine that that was the worst tasting.

Grolsch Brown (not the green one)
got a case at Wal-Mart... half Brown/Half green for cheap
Threw away the Brown

Tequiza .. the used to give that stuff out free at bars when it first came out..
after one try.. never touched it again

Keystone Light... ughgth

most overrated "premium" beer = Corona

Best easily available beers

Anchor Steam
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Guinness Draught
Bass Ale
Pabst Blue Ribbon (THE BEST CHEAP BEER)

I found some at Big Lots today that I'm pretty sure would be ranked as worse beer ever.

Its a mostly white can, red swatch with its name on it. 2.99 for a 6 pak.

i was in a store one time that sold generic brands and the beer was in a white can and all it said was BEER in black letters
Been there, done that, almost vomited on half a can. It was something like just a few bucks for a case, we thought, we'd get pissed for cheap and almost wound up tossing our cookies LONG before we could each finish the first can!

And I can't believe what some of you guys come up with! It was page 7 until I saw "Coor's Light" show up! And whoever thinks beers like Guiness and Heineken and such are the worst beer, obviously haven't done much first hand research. You may not like their taste, but let me tell you that they are not the worst.

Back at Penn State, we used to call Iron city the "bottled beer that tastes like a can". (I swear it was the only beer that actually tasted like steel!)

Anyone ever try Shandy? I had one once in the UK. It's beer and lemonade (or something like that). That sh1t was awful!

Once you start drinking foreign beers though, most American beers are simply too bland for drinking anymore. I will never turn down a good Australian beer. (Except Foster's. No Australian drinks Foster's)

Anyone ever try "Ed's Cave Creek Chili Beer" (or something like that). It's a beer with a jalapeno in the bottom. Now I like beers, and I like jalapenos, but this is not a combination to try. It's like putting peanut butter on spaghetti. It just doesn't work. That was nasty.

On the other hand. Anyone ever make mac and cheese with some beer in it? Maybe I was drunk at the time, but I thought it tasted pretty good.

All IPAs (India Pale Ale) suck!!!:disgust: I have to mention there is some japanese beer (not sake), that will make you want to bomb japan just for the beer insult.
:DI do love Yuengling though, unfortunately we don't get it here in Alaska.:D

the absolute worst has to be Schaefer... i bought a 6pack for 1.99$ at some ghetto store.. never questioned why it was so cheap after tasting it

Icehouse isnt bad at all when its cold... 6 tallboys with a high alcoholic content for cheap.. u cant beat that

and PBR is about the best tasting when it comes to penny-boozing

Yep, Schaefer is bad.

Corona is bad. Stayed in an all inclusive resort in Cancun once and had to drink mostly Corona or XX since the american beers weren't free.

I hear Guiness is much better if you get it in Europe, fresh.

My favorite 'buy-almost-anywhere' beer is Killians Red, followed by Bass Ale, and occasionaly Black and Tan.
My all time favorites are all microbrews - Flaming Stone at Boscos in Nashville TN, and the Vellas Hellas (yum) and Cherokee Red from The Smoky Mountain Brewery in Gatlinburg TN.

Yeah, microbrews ROCK!!! The best beer I have ever had was a Ravens Ridge Porter from fairbanks alaska. Tasted like cranberries even though none were in it. Man that was great, unfortunatly the brew house is now on hiadas. Bummmer.

found a new crappy one this weekend...Keystone Ice. I drank with some college friends so they're still on the "cheap beer that fvcks you up" bandwagon so I understand. But for my more refined newly yuppy taste buds it was rank :(

Grolsch.

I mean, I fvcking LOVE saying Grolsch. It's just a fun word to say. Like, I love saying "five-liter keg-barrel of GROLSCH" saying it like you'd say "raaaaalphh" but the actual bear itself is horrible.

Pass me a Newcastle.

Light beers (like, in color) are for 'tards.

Yes, this means you. Put that Corona down and get in the freakin' kitchen and make me some freakin' eggs, bitch.

For those of us in the Texas, you will recognize Texas Select as the worst. Abita Turbo Dog is nasty, also.

I used to think Gobels was the worst I'd ever had, until I tried Buckhorn.

That stuff is toxic waste in a bottle.

Give me the Honey Brown.

Worst ones were probably Lienenkugel and Beck's, but Beck's tastes a tad bit worse than Lienenkugel to me. Ugh...

Guiness... YUCK... Becks is great in comparison, corona is heaven, budweiser is the stuff, heineken is great...

Guiness... Y-U-C-K!!!

See, there's your problem... you actually think the Corona is a good beer.... sad sad sad... :p
