If you like Blue Moon and haven't tried Shocktop it's pretty damn good. Definitely one of my favorite cheaper beers. Tastes similar and is $6.99 a six pack. Both are excellent with a slice of Orange in them.

I'll have to try that. Thanks!

I'm always looking to find the best reasonably priced beer I can. $1/beer is around where I like to keep it for normal weekly drinking.

Had some Brooklyn Local 2 last night, tonight I'm having people over to finish up the Miller High Life and PBR in my fridge.

I picked up some Guinness Extra Stout and Blue Moon Belgian White for the first time last week, so I'll probably have one of each (I don't drink a lot). I like the Guinness a lot, and the Blue Moon is pretty good, albeit weak.

I might also try some more of my friend's homebrew, but I don't have high hopes for it since the first two bottles I tried weren't very good.

I found a 6 pack of Sam Adam's Cream Stout at Walmart of all places last week. I'm not normally a Sam Adams fan as I find there stuff a bit...bland. But this stuff was pretty damn good. I was very pleasantly surprised. Very smooth, rich flavor with a good hint of chocolate and coffee undertones.

I got a few cans of Young's Double Chocolate Stout, and about the same of Wexford Irish Cream Ale. They're my staple "drinking for premium taste" beers.

Lately I've been trying to drink stuff that I've never had before. Nothing particularly special, just brands I never bothered to sample in the past. I've run out of stuff you can get anywhere though (Different types of Sam Adams, Landshark, etc.) I think I'm going to need a specialty liquor store of some sort to continue broadening my horizons.

That's why I like beer threads. Less than an hour, and I've already received two (hopefully) solid recommendations for new beer to try. Thanks!

Beer of choice for college parties. Unfortunately, it tastes like horseshit, so I'll try to get a hold of

to try something new and made of wheat.

Nice....my local place had that on tap recently.

I'm drinking Firestone Double Barrel Ale tonight...probably about half a keg left :)

Every time I have beer I nearly throw up. :(
Then I switch to hard liquor and feel better, but by that point I feel so well drunk that I normally have someone take whatever I have away from me since I wont stop drinking it otherwise. :p
