been there, done that too, and formed the same conclusion, they suck. There's no point in torturing yourself and try to "learn" to like a certain thing. It's like a bad relationship... if you don't like it, get the phuck out, move on. Most of R&B, hip hop, rap, take samples from the musical geniuses of past and put their mix into it, disgusting. Electronica? I can do that with a cheap keyboard (and yes, have done it). I do appreciate talent, but not the " ughh... ughh... yay yay... throw your hands up hoe... " and the noisy music that masked a singer's lack of vocal ability. Granted there are some originality in the genre mentioned, but they are few, and if they're any, it's played out like a broken record on radio, which drives me to hate them.
