what bandaid do you prefer?

i sliced my finger pretty bad when cutting onions once. i put a fucking napkin around it... LOL and then I taped it up. disgusting.

then my med school friend yelled at me and drove me to walgreens to get some neosporin and bandages. i was bleeding pretty badly.

We call them plasters, and I just use whatever is available, no preference.

Mesh/fabric ones, regardless of brand. I don't like having sensitive gooy white pruned skin when I go to remove the bandaid. Stretchy fabric ones for use around joints.

I don't see a point in buying the cheapest ones, since any box of them will last years.

The really expensive fabric ones. They don't come off and can take a beating and still keep the wound clean.

It also lets the skin breathe better, and it's more flexible.

Whatever they have at Costco when I go to buy band-aids...

Last time it was 4.6 million Nexcare band-aids in assorted sizes, packaged in worthless plastic "envelopes...most of which don't fit my big fingers...so I always end up with tons of the child-size...and their worthless "waterproof" band-aids left over. (which I usually give to my daughter for the grandkids...even though they're far from being flesh-tone for them)
This last time, it was 3.7 million Band-aid brand band-aids...packaged in oblong plastic boxes. I'm sure I'll have lots of the odd-ball sizes left over from these as well...but at least the plastic boxes will be usable for something...maybe.

Depends on the type of wound. A nice slice around your hand can be problematic, because normal movements open it back up far quicker than a good scab can form, and even keep any from forming at all, for awhile.
