What band do you think has the best music videos?

My vote goes to Smashing Pumpkins. I bought their DVD a little while ago with all 20 videos on it, and every single video is interesting and a lot of them tell a story. The only thing that sucks is on this DVD they didn't bother doing a 5.1 mix. The sound quality is still top of the line though. I don't think they are very good live though...at least from what I've seen. All bands should take some lessons from NIN on how to put on a memorable and awe-inspiring live show.....but that's a whole other topic 🙂

edit: oh yeah, I never really noticed this about her before, but in SOME of the videos D'Arcy is freakin hot. :Q In others she isn't though

forgot to write... the forums are SLOOOOOOWWW today

Yeah, I agree Smashing Pumpkins has some great videos, but nothing can come close to the quality of Tool videos.

Tool videos are a little too out there for me...I love their music though. I bought the Salival box set and sold it on FS/FT about a week later.

Rammstein maybe

What I do know for sure that the best music-video in the world is "Smack my Bitch up" by Prodigy 😀

My vote would go to Nirvana. The Smashing Pumpkins videos are good too.

Blink-182's videos are always entertaining. 😀

I agree in both counts, Smashing Pumkins by far have the best videos, all of them are great, now for the best video ever, my vote would have to go to Smack my Bitch Up. <watch it drunk>

This can't be said for all their work, but I really enjoyed two recent U2 videos. Elevation and Stuck in a Moment were both really well done, I thought. Elevation just had some excellent visuals whereas Stuck in a Moment had a great concept (with Madden as a bonus) 😛

The Stuck in a Moment video's idea is good on paper, but I think its a horrible, boring video. Way too much repetition.

I always tend to like Weezer and Blink 182 vids.

I can understand that... I agree they could have put more unique footage in between the replays.

Blink 182 does make some hilarious videos.

Stryper. Back in the late 80s early 90s, they have the sweetest videos. MTV showed some of them, but not all of them
