Took this one myself from the top level of a parking garage down town.

That looks awesome, except for the part of the calendar that's hard to read. I'm totally OCD about stuff like that so I usually dim my wallpapers enough so I have no problems reading them.

yeah...I have a love/hate thing going with Pure. I usually use dark backgrounds so white is the only color that really works.

Not much going on here lately. I go back and forth between the wood background or a live wallpaper.

I just use the stock iPhone wallpaper. I couldn't be bothered to change it - even though, now with iOS4, I can.

With this thread, though, I'm now properly motivated now to look though them now though.

I take it I'm the only one who doesn't like widgets?

I use the flip-clock one but only have it to update every 2 hours so battery use is minimal. Also have a battery widget which is a given and calendar widget. None of my widgets use much power at all.

I posted that (what I'm guessing you quoted since I can't see quotes) before I rooted. Having 2 or more widgets on my myTouch would make it lag.

I've had 5 widgets going with no problems now. It just eats the crap out of my battery.

It doesn't. The difference was imperceptible when I used it. Well, maybe it depends on the phone. With my Droid overclocked to 1.1Ghz, it didn't make a noticeable difference.

Ill second this... I used it for a couple weeks on my EVO with no noticeable change in battery life. The wallpaper sleeps if you're not at the home screen, so unless you spend a lot of time looking at your home screen you shouldn't see much of an increase in battery usage.

Try uploading it to tinypic or something.

hehe i was linking it to imageshack back then too, not sure why it wouldnt work. something to do with their linking tho, the address changes with "friend" and "absolute" addressing

i still have the same .gif background in use. i started using .gif that can be tiled so it doesnt get all whack looking when i switch to landscape. this one looks the exact same landscape as it does portrait. i have a bunch of different versions with color changes and contrast changes too.
