Anything subaru. They run forever and no weather condition this side of the artic circle can get in your way. Great MPG and spry handling.

Can anybody else vouch for Subaru's reliability?

My mother is on her 2nd Impreza and I am 15,000 miles in on a Legacy.

Problem free to date.

Subarus don't die, they have to be killed. Seriously, they are that reliable.

Audi RS6 Avant Station Wagon. Why? Because:

1. 500 hp bi-turbo engine
2. 0-60 in 4 seconds
3. Tops out at around 320 km/hour
4. You can fit your whole family and camping gear into it

when i'm rich and famous this is the first car on my list. second is a Porsche 911 Turbo S, which is another AWD monster. 🙂

yeah, if you head up into the mountains, you'll see more ancient subarus than you thought existed, and they're all still running. solid cars.

I used to have a Subaru Legacy that my family uses as the "kid car" now. It's a 1997 with almost 100,000 miles and I would trust my life to it in a heartbeat over anything else with four wheels (as opposed to tank treads)

MSN Autos is showing reliability issues with the Impreza's engine except for '95 and '96. Is the problem common, or is MSN Autos just stupid?

out of the affordable ones? R32 then Sti then Evo. Evo or Sti are faster than the r32 but the r32 interior is 10x better than the other 2

It's 450bhp and it's also one of my favourite cars ever.

My cousin picked up a 2001 Subaru 2.5RS and I took it for a drive. Not a bad car, definately better than the Civic, Integra, Altima, and Prelude that I've driven. It had a good torque curve and a nice feel. Didn't need to be wound out.

3000GT VR4... could probby get a 96-98' for less than $10k
6 speed manual
320 hp
all wheel drive
all wheel steering
