IMO, it'd be cool if we could rate threads 1-5, everybody gets one vote. Then I could avoid the troll mumble jumbo like "why bash on christians" or, "why should we care if animals get abused?"
That'd be awesome. And if we could also sort threads by their rating!! yes!

I hate how some of them automatically play. I visited this one website where 4 youtube videos all started playing at the same time. Like what kind of retard makes a website like that? Do they try navigating to the website on their own computer to see if it's fucked up like that??

I had to get rid of flash block because lots of sites seem to have hidden flash elements or they have 20 different flash things that all need to be clicked. imageshack used flash for its uploading and I can't enable it due to some weird hidden flash thing that I can't seem to find. Websites for companies are the worst. I think Acura's website has flash elements for every thing that can be clicked.

It's killed here further up the network for that very reason. If a site does not have an HTML version too bad. It just kills too much bandwidth. For things like youtube I use a whitelist so I still use FB because rick rolls of the past. After that incident where I clicked on a link that was a rick roll and the system was connected to 12kW of PA and over 1000 people heard Rick Astley and were like WTF, no more open flash for me! :biggrin:

This sounds like a good idea. Enough flags on an account to trip the ban circuit breaker with a results file for a moderator to approve. It would also have to be verbose enough to detect patterns of abuse (retaliatory abuse, for example).

doesn't work. it was already done before and every thread got rated a 1 star just because people are douchebags.
