What area codes are used in South Carolina?

Turkish

Lifer
I tried to google, but kinda got mixed up results. Anyone know the area codes used in South Carolina? Or better yet, anyone from Charleston, I have a question for ya 🙂

Thanks a lot.

The three that I know of are 864 (western part of the state), 803 (central part), and 843 (eastern; should be Charleston's)

Edit: First google search for "south carolina, area codes" turns up this

Agreed. If you put the thread title into Google, the first page it lists has all the information he needs.

You know, in the time it took you to Google and post here, you could have :

1. Opened your local phone book,

2. Within the first few pages found a map of the U.S. with **GASP** area codes for the U.S.

Guess it was just too hard to do the simplest thing, though.
