Being maimed/disabled has always been my biggest fear. Pretty much anything where I become dependent on others to do things for me because I can't physically or mentally do them on my own (but which would normally be something I could, of course). Hell, I can make it more general: anything where I become not in control of my own body or fate. So falling out of a plane or something like that would count too.

I learned real fear when I became a parent - once you love someone that much... eek.

Wonderful but scary as hell that you will lose them.
