i can rebuild engines, and i do all of my own plumbing and electrical ect...

but do i think others suck becuase they cant? no of course not, they are probably better at me in something else...

get a life

plus not everyone plays videogames...generations change get used ot it

Where did I say anyone sucked? I was merely replying to Tyler's and a few other's posts. I simply implied that video games have destroyed the creativity of most young males these days....and they have. Sitting around building computers is not only easy but it isn't very creative and considering how much of a commodity a lot of the computer industry has become it isn't going to be a great career path in the future for most. You need to get a life. I build computers too but it doesn't consume my life. They are tools and I use them and building them is so damn easy why would I pay some moron to screw up what I can do myself?

lol now you are telling me to get a life...

umm wow...there is just to much to say to that repsonce...ill bbl after i calm down

Calm down? So you can dish it out but can't take it? That seems about normal these days. You misinterpret what I said and then get your panties in a ruffle....I guess I hit a little to close to home. Spare me and the others the theatrics.

umm no i dont think so, i grew up without computers ect, and i still disagree with your comment...no it does not hit close to home, as i only get time to play vid games on week ends, but my wife is a teacher and so i know a lot of her children and with some of the stuff i hear about them i really do not like to hear it when people trash another generations becuase they prefer to do other things...

The same opinion I have of a guy who can't bench press 250, that he's a pathetic moma's-boy loser.
Pfft, anybody who can bench 300 lbs in a momma's boy.. or has a life outside the gym;)

325 SL...muhahahaha
Yeah right, you're the Moron who has to go to CompUSA to harrass the employees there just to feel secure about your own pathetic self.

i used to play HS football...i know a lot of other guys that can do way more than me...4 years straight in the weightroom...i still do it every once in a while...how about you?

Not everyone live in suburban and have a big garabge and boxfull of tools to rebuild engine.

and not everyone have time to do so and have more time to brag about it on a tech forum.

4 times a week plus 2 to 3 times a week doing Cardio. Of course I border on being OC about it and sometimes think I go a little (a lot) overboard thus my comment about having a life outside of the gym.

I would have to say that they grew up in a world were that was not an important issue to them.. Just becuause it is common to us (I say us because I am good in the garage)does not make it that way to all.. we all have what we are good at and that is what makes us all individuals...

I have never rebuilt an engine, nor do I want to. I will gladly pay a mechanic for that. But there is one thing I have "serviced" in my car that I will proudly do again and would never trust my mechanic with: my girlfriend in the backseat.:p

That depends upon yur definition of "can't". I haven't ever done it before, not because "I can't" but because, 1.) No garage, 2,) Lazy, 3.) better things to do, 4.) Nobody put a gun to my head and said REBUILD ENGINE OR ELSE.

I'm sure If I read a couple of manuals, and had a garage, time, and someone sticking a gun to my head, I would do a damn good job rebuilding an engine. Therefore, I technically, "CAN" Rebuild an engine, at least in theory.

Also, usually I think parady threads are several levels of stupid worse then retarded, however, this one was semi-amusing.

no afterburners on our jets, but I did watch the mechanics switch out an engine once. And I got a little grease on my pants that day.

Cool!...what type of aircraft do you fly?
