My fiance and I don't have any right now, and we're pretty leery about spending $75-150/person on one night of craziness and debauchery.

A few options in Los Angeles

Do any of the above sound appealing? I just don't want to get my hopes up, blow a significant sum of cash, and end up disappointed after the night is over.
 
not doing much as we are flying out of detroit on the first to ft lauderdale to head out on a cruise.
we will just have our bottles of champagne and a pretty quiet night
 
anything is better than going to your fiancee's parents house and sit around doing nothing, which is what i'll be doing.

Yep! 🙂 it will be great! This is a "graduation" cruise(he graduated from college) for my FI so, we got a suite and everything! we are trying Holland America for the first time and its only 7 days.
You should try it! you can get some great deals! its very romantic and lots of fun.

I expect it will go something like: Drinks, more drinks, dinner, after dinner drinks, after after dinner drinks, after after after dinner drinks, 12:01 - celebrate the new year, nightcap, pass out on the nearest available semi-flat surface.
