I've rather not give my money to advertising and would appeciate it if you listed some tried and true products.

What are some good gloves that are decently priced? For winter sports especially, so they'd have to be rather flexible and resist absorbing water.

my good snowboarding gloves.

Cost a bunch, but well worth it (they're mittens actually and come up to about mid arm).
