nothing really strange, but:

fries dipped in ice cream (think McDonald's large fries + their vanilla sundae)
spaghetti + fried chicken

Not really strange, but people seem funny about it sometimes:

Peanut Butter + Bacon + Sprout Sandwich. You can substitute Almond Butter or Cashew butter if you can find it.

A scrambled egg patty (is there a better term for this, where you scramble an egg but then let it cook in a single patty rather than breaking it up into little pieces?) on toast with peanut butter. Good breakfast.

I also like sausage + maple syrup, but a lot of people like that.

Biscuits and chocolate sauce (my granny used to make Chocolate Gravy and homemade biscuits and this was not unusual in the south back in the day)

Yellow mustard and potato chips.

peanut butter & jelly sandwich, with a few tostitos corn chips.

mixture of soft / crunchy, salty/sweet, its all there.

I like eggs and ketchup, dipping wendy's fries a wendy's frosty, and putting honey on turkey (or chicken) sandwiches.

Can't think of any other strange combos that I like.

anytime I make chicken noodle soup from scratch, I serve it with mashed potatoes. I have been told this is weird. I think it is delicious.

Do you combine the two ingredients at all or do you just serve them next to each other? I could see mashed potatoes with chicken noodle soup as gravy being pretty good.

Makes me think of one of my dad's favorite comfort foods - mashed potatoes with a soft-boiled egg on top. He makes the potatoes into a "volcano" mound with an indentation in the top and pours the egg in. Very yummy 🙂

Pretzels and Sour Cream

Black Olives and Cheddar Cheese. Whenever I go to a party and there is a relish tray, I always eat each slice of cheese with a black olive.

Mac N Cheese and Baked beans

And not that strange, but whenever we have mashed potatos, I do the volcano thing as mentioned above, only I top it with sweet corn, gravy and butter. Been doing that since I was a kid.

I serve the soup over the mashed potatoes, like its a gravy.

Other weird food combo I just thought of giant Dill Pickle and fountain Coca-Cola! Yummy!

Slice of bread with whipped cream, jelly, syrup, butter, and sugar.

reading that made my teeth hurt.

i like popcorn with ketchup. plain lays chips with mustard is also a good combo.

Peanut butter and lettuce sandwich. The crunchiness of the lettuce lubricates the gummy globs of peanut mush.
