I'm having a terrible time finding good video games anymore... It's impossible for me to judge a game based on reviews... So many people have different concepts of what a good game is.

I'm glad I'm good at dissasembling boxes without breaking the seal on them. This way, if the game sux, I can put it back together and get my money back.. Have had to do that a LOT lately.

Anyway, here are some games I think STINK!
Star Trek (anything)! Too arcade style for me.. Especially, Starfleet Commander II
I've already taken back 2 Deep Space Nine games, and going to take this SFCII back Monday. :|
Delta Force 2 - There is Nothing remotly entertaining about this game.
NOX - Complete waste of $20. I had to keep this one because I couldn't get the box back together :(

Deus Ex - Stunning! Loved it. Played it all the way through twice.
1620 A.D. - Fun game. I like city building ;)

I plan to get HL CS next. Too many people talk good about this game.

What are some games you people Like/Dislike? comment on them...

My favorite types are: Role Playing/Fantasy, Simulation
My least favorite types are: Arcade style and strategy.

Just so you know (in case you didn't) CS looks bugly (butt ugly).

Hmm. I'm mostly into strategy games, so you won't like those. I like tribes, mostly for the ability to fly! (and then fall, bbut let's not get into that )

edit: Perfect Dark for N64 is pretty cool too as far as console games go.

bad games? I generally wait until a game had been proven or not before trying it, so I avoid getting a bad game with my limited budget.

Final Fantasy IX is fun, real good game. Though it's about 2 years old I think, Xenogears is also one hell of a game.

Both for PSX. :)

CS only looks butt ugly if you are running it at 640x480 on software mode cause your puter sucks (cough GreenBeret cough).

Right now my favs are CS, FFIX, and Zelda: Majora's Mask.

Least favorite would probably be Shaq Fu for the SNES.

Half Life was my introdution to the PC gaming world, I was hooked. (Didn't finish it though)

The Sims cute game, damn that Guinea Pig!

I have Dues Ex installed on my machine but haven't gotten to it. I played the intro., it looks pretty dope.

I am playing American McGee Alice right now, amazing graphics and such.

Thats all I can think of right now, I might play Icewind Dale, Red Alert 2, Baldur's Gate 2, Project IGI when I feel like it :)

Escape from Monkey Island is really fun :)

I like first person POV.

Arcade games are okay, Consoles are too but not really interested.

I'm not so great at selecting good games either, but I don't have any special box opening skills, so I'm pretty much stuck with them or fleabay them :p Lately I've tried renting first, it costs a couple more dollars to do that first but then you can be sure if you really like the game before buying.

Don't know what console you have; all I have is SNES right now. RPG's only.

Favorite Games:

7th Saga
Secret of Evermore
Illusion of Gaia
Soulblazer

Least Favorites:

Anything that is so tedious and time consuming as to make it seem as though it's going to take you the rest of your life just to get out of this d*mned marsh level you're at right now. IE: Addams Family Values..... Aarrgghh!!!:|

Yo_Ma-Ma, my box opening skills are as follows.

Games that are non-shrink-wrapped that have a flap... you open the flap up, and there is a seem in the box you take a long razor knife and cut open. You can open the box that way and get everything out without breaking the seal.

I don't consider this wrong simply because if the game is CAPPY (and there are a lot of them), I can slip everything back in the box and "glue" it closed and return it. Get my money back. The store can still sell it because it is basically just like I bought it
If it's a good game, I keep it! Reward the good programmers who wrote it :)

Current favorite: Shenmue. Finally, Sega has it's own RPG series. Nintendo has Zelda, Sony has FF7/8/9/10/?, and now Sega has Shenmue 1-16 (if all goes as planned).
All-time favorites: FF3, FF7.
All-time least favorite: FF8 just because it SHOULD have been good.
All-time worst: Er. A Boy and his Blob :)

I play Counter-strike, Red Alert 2, and Diablo 2 right now. You wouldn't like Red Alert 2 since it is strategy but you might enjoy the other two.

Tribes was awesome. I played it so much but I got bored.

Some of my favorites:
Chronotrigger
All the Zelda games
The Final Fantasy series
Warcraft I & II
Starcraft
Unreal Tournament
and much much more...

I don't really have games that I hate. If I don't like a game, I stop playing before I get to the point where I start hating it. ;)

I just finished Drakkan. I didn't realize I had the full version (came with my vid card at least 6 months ago). It was pretty fun.

Half-Life is my favorite so far.

MDK2 is a close second.

I play a lot of DEMOS. It takes a lot to impress me to buy a full version.
For the demos, I liked Alice (maybe enough to buy it). Was impressed with Star Trek Elite Force - However, I HATE the other Star Trek games so I am not sure I should buy the full version. I DIDN'T like Sacrifice. DETESTED Daikatana.

hehe, I never thought of it like this, but I'm going to attempt to list all the games I've played and comment.. Well, I'll try to list the ones I can remember :)
I'll try to keep them in cronilogical order from the first game I bought for my 486 6 years ago.

Sim City 2000 - **** played it for months and months.
Doom2 - ***** One of the best peices of software ever written.
Falcon Gold - ***** AWESOME F16 simulator! I played this game for months.. got Lots of medals too :)
Need for Speed 2 - ** Fun racing game, but unrealistic handling. (flying cars?)
Mech Warroir 2 - ** a Pioneering 3D game, but lacked what it took to keep my attention.
Meridian59 - ***** First online RPG 1st person hack-n-slasher... Was GREAT!
F22 - ** Great graphics for a Flight Simulator, but had "Bad" flight caracteristics.
WarCraft 1 - *** First type of game like this I played.. Loved it! I wanted an editor though.
WarCraft 2 - ***** What WC1 should have been! We used to have LAN parties every weekend with this game.
Diablo 1 - *** I loved the Fantasy aspect of it, but was too small of a game world. Online Cheaters ruined it for me.
Ultima Online - **** I loved that game (at first) simply because I love the online massive multi-player Hack-n-slash world. It now ranks as Suck.
Quake I - ** I just didn't like it. Hard to follow Doom2's footsteps.
Lords of Magic - ** Maybe played it 2 weeks?
Heros of Might and Magic? - * Turned base Role playing????
Quake II - ***** The only game I played during 1998. :) Well, not the only ;)
Sim City 3000 - ** Somewhat entertaining if you like City Building. Expected a LOT more than it was.
Never Quest - ** Something to play. Not much of a game with goals, other than to make a few Plat and a Level.
Asheron's Call - **** Massive Multi-Player Fantasy game with an AWESOME map. Lacks a few things, like sizable towns (villages are just lame), and Guild Halls. Bad lag too.
Ceasars III - ** OK City builder.
Pharoh - ** Dupe of Ceasars
Baldurs Gate - *** Good D&D game. I accidently ran across cheats which riuned it though. :(
Wizzards and Warriors - * Not an appealing adventure game.
Diablo 2 - *** Better than the first, but not by much. Doing the same dungeons over and over gets old fast.
Delta Force 2 - * Single player mode Blows... Online multi-player, so so.
Industry Giant - ** I don't know why I like this game, but I do.
Deus Ex - **** What ALL 3D games should look like! I loved this game, but beat it too fast.
Deep Space 9, The Fallen - ** I like adventure, not Puzzles... constantly puzzles!
Star Trek New Worlds - * Not even remotely entertaining.
Starfleet Commander Volume II - I can't even give this game 1 star! It defy's IS SUCK!

Well, that's about half of the games I've had since my first PC 6 years ago. All I could think of on the whelm.

What want to see come out... A Massive Multi-Player Fantasy game like Ever Quest, but with a Map like Asherons Call (no zoning) and Graphics like Deus Ex... with Big Cities (not villages) and LOTS of buildings you could Rent, or Buy for your Guilds (not place anywhere you wanted to like UO). That would be AWESOME if something like that came out.
I'm sorta looking forward to Starwars online.

My fav game of ALL time is Total Annihilation!!!! That is THE best game! It's about 3 years old now, but it just plain rocks multiplayer! And it has 2 expansions, Core Contingency and Battle Tactics. THIS GAME ROCKS!

Oh, I liked AOE, but thought AOE2 was boring (good game though, just not what I was looking for). Crimson Skies is a BLAST!! That's my fav flyer so far. NFS 3 and up are very nice. Q3A and Tribes are also a few of my favs.

Anyone here play TA? I would love to get a game with anyone!

Hey...my first post after lurking (mostly in hot deals) on this site for several months! Anyway, here are some of my favorites throughout the years (hopefully my age won't show):

Baldurs Gate I and II
Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord
Command & Conquer: Red Alert (getting ready to play RA 2 soon)
HomeWorld (I hear the sequel is subpar)
Final Fantasy series (haven't played from FF8 on though)
Legend of Zelda series
Chrono Trigger (I wish I kept that game...the cartridge is worth a small fortune now!)

And some oldies but goodies:
M.U.L.E.
E.L.I.T.E.
Strategic Conquest and Empire! Deluxe
original Ultima series
Asteroids (the first arcade game I ever played...and started my addiction)
