I've been on a tofu kick lately, but I don't know many recipes. I can search for recipes online or look through my cookbooks, but it doesn't tell me if people like it or not. So...I'd like to know if any of you like/eat tofu and if you do, what are your favorite recipes?

My korean friend made some tasty soup that had tofu in it. It was similar to miso, except it was much stronger.

None.

However raw tofu with sugar soy sauce, cook tofu with satay tomato sauce (fresh chopped tomatoes & chopped green onion), or pan fried tofu marinated in ginger/lemon grass aren't bad.

I just tried cooking it for the first time a few days ago, so what I made was really, really easy. I just cooked it in Pam one day and olive oil another in a pan, seasoned the hell out of it and then added it to either Chicken & Broccoli or Beef Rice-A-Roni. It tasted really good so that made me what to get more things to cook.

I don't understand how people like tofu. It had no taste or smell so it does nothing but get the tastes from other food. It doesn't enhance the foods you put it in so I see no reason to ever eat or use it.

I was thinking about trying it in spaghetti.

And as for me, I tried it because I'm not always a big beef fan so I wanted to try something different. My favorite meat is probably chicken.

Tofu is great to add to chili.

Personally, I slice firm tofu in small blocks and stir-fry with black bean sauce with garlic.

I like tofu shish kabobs cooked on the grill. Marinate tofu and vegetables in a BBQ sauce overnight, skewer, then cook on a grill, liberally brushing with BBQ sauce as it cooks. Very tasty :^)

Tofu western style = fail.

Seriously I have yet to try any westernized tofu dish that I've liked. I guess I'm biased having grown up eating Chinese food but in my opinion if you want some good tofu get a Chinese friend to take you out to some good Chinese restaurants. Order Ma Po dofu etc... Oh right and in Chinese it's Dofu, it's Tofu in Japanese and English. See my sig. I posted a nice simple tofu recipe in the recipe thread (first post).

Ma Po == yum! Highly recommended. Which reminds me, I need to learn how to make it myself.

I make a pretty good sweet and sour tofu adapted from the Enchanted Broccoli Forest cookbook. A few other good recipes in there too.

That's one of my favorite foods. No tofu in the recipes I've had though. Best recipe makes it almost like a lasagna - deep dish, layered. MMMMmmmmmm

Tofu also contains soy isoflavones, which can mimic natural human estrogens and may have a variety of harmful or beneficial effects when eaten in sufficient quantities.
That's all a real man needs to know. Intentionally dose themselves with estrogen? Not a chance.
