I love autumn. There is the smell of peanuts being harvested. The leaves on the trees begin to turn different colors. The air outside becomes cool all day long and it even gets a little chilly at night. I like it when it rains, preferably around Thanksgiving. I love being home and having family and friends come over and eat dinner on Thanksgiving day. I love the fact that the humidity here becomes almost non-existent (in Virginia). I can leave the window up and have the cool night air come in and I sleep like a baby. It?s just something about this time of year that makes me feel jovial. Most of the people I come into contact with seem like they are in good moods too. I think autumn and early winter are my favorite times of year especially on rainy days.
