<< moment is GT2 on my pc. (i used to play it on playstation but once u play it on ur pc u'll never go back). >>

using a emulator?

yep, using epsxe, it runs really well on my computer and it feels little bit different at first because of all the detail and increased vision (you can see further ahead and better resolution).

but for some reason i keep on going back to Mustang Cobra 🙂 it just fits my semi drifting style perfectly.

Wolf.

I am very disappointed with civIII dont buy it if your an alpha C or civ II fan.

Operation Flashpoint is a good FPS war game. Expansive terrain, fly choppers, drive tanks etc. Download ver. 1.30 if you buy it.
Serious Sam is a good ole kill a thousand baddies per level stress reliever, and it's cheap too
Hitman Codename 47 is a gem. FPS/Sneaker
Just Some of my latest favorites.....What kind of games do you like?

ok, now i know you said that to get a reaction, so why the removal of Dark Age ??
i was thinkin of tryin it. was finally having hope in massively multi thing. cuz i think everquest is complete crap.
i didnt actually want to have to wait for warcraft.

I certainly liked DAoC a great deal when I first got it. I was amazed by (a) how good it looked, and (b) how many of the obvious bugs and problems of other games (e.g. EverQuest, Asheron's Call) had been dealt with.

But that said, the game is unfinished. I mean really unfinished. There are about 12 monster models in the whole damn game; they just change their names and sizes to give the appearance of variety. The dungeons are much the same; some of the dungeons are duplicated across different realms with different names, and in one of the realms (Albion) one of the dungeons has a big chunk of another dungeon cut-n-pasted right into it!

I realise these aren't game-killing flaws, but if I'm going to pay for the subscription, I'll wait until they've had a chance to put in a little more art.

Other problems include balance between realms and classes (again, balance problems are nothing new, but things seem to be changing very quickly right now, and I think it might well settle down in a few months) and the fact that the biggest selling-point of the game, Realm vs Realm warfare, is poorly and incompletely implemented.

Again, all of these things might be fixed nicely in (say) three or four months' time. But right now, my advice would be to stay away and let them figure the game out. I find it very frustrating, and quite boring, to play as it currently stands.

<< Two weeks ago I would have said "Dark Age of Camelot".

Today, however, I uninstalled it.

WHY ???

i am planning to get this, too.

(And Dungeon Siege in spring....yummy..looks fantastic !)

Edit: Oh...i saw your explanation......hmmmmm....maybe i'll wait then...

so far Ghost Recon has taken me over. I'm on Mission 11 and I love this game. I have civil 3 but haven't installed it yet, after finals i will be playing it.

danny~!

Any puzzle games? No one has listed the Myst series. I tried the Ghost Recon demo and liked it, I've tried Conquest; Frontier Wars demo and like it. I'm not into the on-line stuff too much. Usually play the FSP until I coomplete them and then forget them. Too many people on-line play those way too much so I don't stand a chance because they know where all the weapons are, etc.

How about kiddie games? I have a almost 5 yr old daughter and a 6 1/4 yr old son (he likes to say he's 6 and a half!!). How old has it been since 1/2 yr older made a difference?

My current favorites include:
Half-Life
Age of Empires 2: The Conquerors
GTA 2

I want to get:
Operation Flashpoint
Empire Earth
Real War

I'm a sucker for the Myst series: RealMYST (requires min. 16 Mbyte graphics card), Riven, Myst III: Exile. Pretty good puzzles.

I liked Zork Grand Inquisitor and Zork Nemesis, too.

DAoC

Despite the incomplete RvR, the limited number of monster models, number of bugs and some "class" imbalance I'm still drawn to it every night. If it was crap and had everything they advertised implemented I wouldn't play it. If it was only a "good" game with bugs and incomplete I wouldn't play it. But I love it, I'm addicted to it and I can't pull myself away! This is all my personal opinion. You are entitled to your own(of course).

Try it out anyway, you get 1 month free and the box itself will only put you out 30 bucks.
