Favorite food is whatever I'm craving at the moment. I live to eat, not eat to live. I eat whatever I want, health be damned. I rather die eating what I enjoy than hoping to live a day longer and ruining my day by eating some shitty health food. Not saying healthy food can't be good but some people like to remove the joy out of life by only focusing on the health aspect of food and the removal of seasoning rather than the flavor and taste aspect. Focus should be tasty food, not healthy food. People who wrongly focus on healthy food are eating to live, not living to eat. That's no way to live and the wrong way to live IMO.

I want to spend the remaining years of my life traveling the world in search of and to eat great foods. There's too much food and cultures I've not eaten and experienced. I must try it all. At least much as I can.

We had a small gathering yesterday for a birthday, and I bought a 10 lb box of frozen King crab legs from Costco. Damn good!

King crab legs are very good but it's too expensive in the US at the moment. Plus, it's from Russia so I would feel bad if I bought it with what I know about Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Pretty much all are from Russia. All the prior boxes I bought from Costco were Russia country of origin.

At least you didn't know. Last month, there was glut of alive king crabs for sale in South Korea. Since countries were boycotting and refusing to buy Russia king crabs, bunch of king crabs were dumped and sold to South Korea. So at the wholesale markets, prices plummeted and people were able to buy alive king crabs at incredible prices. Here's article on how low Russian crab prices caused a craze and ethical debate.
