Have you guys noticed that the radio stations have been playing "The Space Between" non-stop for the past few months? It's got to the point where I have to skip that song when I'm listening to the Everyday CD :(

I can honestly say i've never heard a DMB song on the radio...but maybe that has something to do with me avoiding the radio at all costs.

When BTCS came out, they played Don't Drink the Water and Stay for a short while. Satellite and Ants Marching gets the occasional play time around here.

But Dave's new CD is definitely radio material b/c every song is under 5 minutes. Most DMB sonds are between 6-8 minutes long which cut them out of radio duty.

I have a bunch of their CD's that I received when I was a DJ, but never listened to any of them. Where would you recommend I start? :D

No, that means they just get played when we have to run to the bathroom. ;)

ShotgunSteve, what albums do you have? Just pop one in and see if you like it.

I'm still really digging the Lillywhite Sessions--favorites from that disc are Gray Street, Bartender, JTR, and my utter favorite--Big Eyed Fish (if you have not heard this song go thee hence and download!).

From his other releases:

Best of What's Around
Seek Up
The Song That Jane Likes
All Along The Watchtower (it's his best cover by far)
Dancing Nancies
Tripping Billies
#41 (my fav. DMB tune of all time)
Crush
Dreaming Tree
Spoon
If I Had It All
Mother Father

There's really not a DMB song I don't like though.

I read a couple reviews saying this album was more "playable" on the radio then some of their past efforts. I don't hear much DMB here, unless I can pull in the Detroit radio station I listen to whenever possible.

My list:

Don't Drink The Water (the live at woodstock version of this is very very good)
Ants Marching
Satellite
Angel
Crash Into Me

I'm sure there's more...some of the bootlegs I've heard are amazing. DMB Live is something I've been meaning to get around to doing.
