Cash's Hurt was awesome as hell...

Recently heard Killswitch Engage's version of Holy Diver... pretty cool, but the original is still better.

Good one

I'm repeating myself a bit from last month, but this time there's more YouTube links.

Nina Gordon - Straight Outta Compton (NWA) - NSFW! NSFW! (language) NSFW!

Concrete Blonde
- Everybody Knows (Leonard Cohen) - video
- Little Wing (Hendrix) - song
- End of the Line (Ferry) - no video 🙁

Bryan Ferry / Roxy Music
- Jealous Guy (Lennon) - video
- These Foolish Things - pre-WWII jazz

Heather Nova -Ship Song (Nick Cave) - no video 🙁 - Concrete Blonde's version is good too

Chris Whitley - Drifting (Hendrix) - song

Fiona Apple - Across the Universe (Lennon) - Pleasantville

Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen) - alternate take

Little Wing wasn't a cover by Hendrix

The names in parenthesis are the original songwriters, for example John Lennon wrote "Across the Universe" and Fiona Apple covered it, Hendrix wrote "Drifting" and Chris Whitley covered it 🙂

Edit: I'm guessing you didn't click the link and/or missed the band name "Concrete Blonde" above it.

Here a decent live cover of the Cars tune.

Drive - Scorpions

I  Schenker's acoustic flying V

I just spent the last hour or so on youtube watching The Scorpions thanks to you.

Thank you.

Your welcome 🙂

How about a little Uli Roth? Not truely a cover, but sweet nonetheless (if you're a Roth fan) Plays pretty fair for an old man eh😉

any idea what the name of the Rammstein song is?

Pantera - Planet Caravan - originally by Black Sabbath
Phil Collins - Behind the Lines - originally by Genesis
Israel K. - Somewhere Over the Rainbow - originally by Judy Garland
Richard Cheese - various, including Baby Got Back - originally by Sir Mix-A-Lot

But, of course, Hendrix's All Along the Watchtower is the greatest.

Les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade cover of the Animals album by Pink Floyd

Claypool can't sing well at all, but the music comes out deliciously dark.

Out of these, I've only heard I'm Your Boogie Man, but the rest sound like a lot of fun :Q What's Drain STH? Does the STH stand for something everybody but me knows? Staind doing Comfortably Numb sounds like it has real possibilities...

I think the STH stands for Stockolm. I would be willing to bet not a lot of people are familiar with this band either.
