Yan Can Cook (Martin Yan)
Simply Ming (Ming Tsai)
New Scandinavian Cooking (various chefs and great looking scandinavian locales)
Mexico: One Plate at a Time (Rick Bayless)
Bizarre Foods and No Reservations are great too though they are not really cooking shows.

Yea I just realized I listed "food shows" not cooking shows. The only "cooking" shows I watch are Top Chef and Iron Chef.

Good Eats
Great Chefs
Emeril is annoying but makes good food
There used to be this fat cajun guy that came on and I can't remember his name. He may be a regional show, but it was awesome.

I love Batali.

i probably watch Good Eats the most.

my favorite all-time would have to be Two Fat Chicks. that show was brilliant.

I used to love watching Two Fat Ladies. I have never seen so much food wrapped in bacon.

Good Eats for actual "how to cook".
No Reservations & Man vs Food for food related entertainment.

Oh wow; I remember most of their stuff being rather unpalatable--like hedgehog pie and scraping mollusks off of rocks, tossing them into gas camp stove. But that's what I like about it, they would usually wander outside, scare up some critters and fry them in a pan, and regale us with stories whilst being gloriously shnockered.

I watch the Food Network way to much for some reason.

I somewhat regularly watch...

Good Eats
DDD
30 Min Meals (though I truly hate her voice)
Grilling with Bobby Flay
Throw Down with Bobby Flay
Charm City Cakes

Non-Food Network shows:
Bizarre Foods
Man vs Food

I think DDD is my favorite. I actually think he has the best job in all of television, just goes to various places and samples awesome local food.

Good Eats is great too, but Alton Brown's recipes are sometimes really bad. Often good, but sometimes bad. Definitely the most informative and entertaining cooking show (meaning, one with actual cooking) out there.

Paula Deen is awesome too. I love her show mostly because it's food that I often can't make myself, for fear of dying.

I loved that guy. Rabbit gumbo. A little more "wiiiiine". And best of all "I gar-on-tee!".

I also like Jacques Pepin, DDD,Mario Batali, Anthony Bourdain and Rick Bayless ( on the master chef show the other chefs are calling him the "professor" because of his encylopediac knowledge of foods).

this. alton brown is god.

everyday italian is good, barefoot contessa is good, essence of emeril is good, tylers ultimate is ok

i dont really watch any of them regularly anymore. Good eats kept getting moved around and i forgot when it was on, i have his books, i check out new eps every now and again. the others are ok time killers. i dont really watch foodnetwork at all anymore because most of the shows arent interesting about me.

i love no reservations. its not so much about cooking as it is about the love and care of food, which is really important to me. watered down shows about easy, cheap meals with lots of store prepped goods and other things have their place, but theyre not interesting to me when it comes to watching them.

Lola

Dunno if its considered a "cooking show" but No Reservations.
After that... Barefoot Contessa
Then Good Eats

Two Fat Ladies was totally underrated. Great show!

Along with some of the other mentioned here (Good Eats, Batali, America's Test Kitchen), I really like In Search of Perfection with Heston Blumenthal of The Fat Duck. His recipes are kind of insane, but it's sort of like food porn for me.

I just started watching this. I really like it, but I hate that damned black-headed female judge. She seems like a complete bitch.
