What are your favorite Black Friday deals so far?

Out of the ones I've seen, these are my favorites:

Cabela's is giving out random gifts to the first 600 people in line for their Black Friday sale. One of them is a bolt action rifle... that oughta keep the crowd from trampling each other when they get in the door 🙂

Sears is selling 32" "Famous Brand Name" HDTV's for $97... Not only are they cheap, but the TV brand name is surprise until you get in the door! That adds some extra holiday drama. If you feel like gambling a bit more, they have a 50" unknown model for $299.

Saw those Cabelas giveaways, that is almost the exact caliber I am looking for so I called up my store and they said just one of each of the prizes that aren't gift cards, and it doesn't matter what number in line you are, odds are still 1:600.... After hearing that I decided to pass, not worth the 1 hour drive.

That's an awesome deal, but it appears you can't actually buy it. It won't let you select "ship it," and if you select "store pickup" it says it's not available in stores. Which isn't surprising - since when does Sears carry SSD's in it's brick-and-mortar stores?

I got mine. You're just late. Gotta find it and buy it quick.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7-Inch, Wi-Fi) is $179.99 - $20 gift card at best buy, but i'm not waiting on line for it. I'm sure it will drop it price soon after.

Just ordered the new 16gb iPad for $440 at Bestbuy for the wife. I think that's pretty good on newly released Apple tablet. Ordered using Chase Freedom card so I should get another 5% back.

Is BB on their fall discount list? I know Kohl's is. I use my Chase Freedom cards only for all my CC purchases, finally cashed in on my points a few weeks ago... $267, plopped into my checking account. 😎 The redemption page lets you consolidate the points from more than one card, so I did that.

I get offers for new CCs in the mail frequently, Citibank has been after me, BA too, got one a few weeks ago, haven't opened the envelope, but the outside said up to 5% off (e.g. gas?), but the Chase Freedom adds a dime/purchase to the % rebate, seems like it might be the best...

The one thing I'd like to get right now (well, one day...) is my first SSD. I could really use 3, but I'm a noob, so want to test the water before jumping in the deep end. :whiste:

Yes, BestBuy is on the 5% list this quarter. I purchased the iPad and iPod Touch today from BB to take advantage of the 5% Chase Freedom promotion.

Already have plenty of HDTV's and computers, so there wasn't a whole lot that was appealing.

BestBuy.com iPad 4th gen $439 - Discover 5% - DiscoverMall 5% - RewardZone = a rare deal on an Apple product.

64GB SanDisk Ultra Class 10 microSDXC w/ Adapter $38 with free shipping.

I've been lurking on GD and SD since midnight last night.

Got the 60" Vizio smart TV, a 1TB portable drive, 3 16GB USB drives ($6.97) and an HP 3in 1 printer ($19.99.) I'm happy.

Congrats on the Vizio 60" that's an awesome deal and worth the effort.

Online or B&M? If it was B&M, did you have to wait in line, or just walk in and buy it?

Here's some useful information on this model, you may want to calibrate it for the best PQ (picture quality):

Looking to get the 55" Panasonic TV that goes on sale at Amazon for $899 at 12:30am EST.

Does anyone know with these Amazon Lightning deals, can I just put it in my cart and just wait for the price to change?

Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. It takes preparation, lightning fast reflexes and a bit of luck.

I've only had one successful Lightning deal, her are my suggestions ... maybe others will chime in?

Make sure you're logged in to your Amazon.com account, turn on 1 click settings, double check your billing and shipping addresses are correct, double check your payment method, and everything else.

You would assume a wired desktop or laptop connection is the best method but some SD'ers have reported success on iPhones and tablets.

Load up the Lightning deals page, there should be a countdown, watch it and when it hits 0:00 strike hard and strike fast.

Thanks. I just had a little practice. I was able to pick-up the Lexar USB3 32gb and 64gb thumbdrives at the stroke of midnight. One I got before it went to the waitlist. The other one, I only got on the wait list but then while I was about to check out, I got a pop-up that told me it became available, so I added it to the cart. Order placed on those.

You're welcome and congrats on your score, it's nice you were able to get some practice.

If the item sells out, don't worry, it will ask if you want to be added to the waitlist? Click yes. Keep an eye on the site because there is a good chance, others may delete the item from their cart. This happened to me and I only had 15 minutes to make a decision and finalize the checkout process. Stay on your game, pay attention and be persistent.

Well, no luck on the Panasonic 55" LED TV. I couldn't even get on the waiting list.

B&M. Had to wait in line but it wasn't bad. Husband was with and he roamed the store corraling other items (they allowed access to many items before the scheduled hour) so that when the 10PM time for the ticket item rolled around we had everything else ready to check out. Store had 35 of the TVs and we wound up with 37 people in line (a couple decided to stay even though they knew that, barring someone falling dead in the line ahead of them, they weren't going to get a TV.) I don't know how many people more than that showed up. They basically stopped the line at 35, telling folks that all the tvs available were spoken for.

I was very surprised that there were that many of such a big ticket item available, especially considering my local storee is one of the smaller walmarts and in a lesser densely populated part of town.

I think the $199 250 GB PS3 bundle with uncharted and infamous games is good. I walked into a local bestbuy at 6:30 am and they had a few left, grabbed one. Walked into Target they had a palette left of theirs, grabbed another for somebody else.

Also was going to buy a Dropcam HD. They're $150 and was surprised to see on amazon them going for $99 early this morning so grabbed one.
