I'd appreciate if you posted your boot times and your basic system specs. (We don't need all the extra crap like monitor, keyboard, etc.)

I'll measure mine once I'm done doing something and post it here.

Thats going to be hard to compare, because of individual apps that people have set to load on startup.
For example I have:
>Norton Antivirus
>Motherboard Monitor
>Crystal Control (for Crystal Fontz LCD)
>Seti@Home

Then how about from the time you press the power button to seeing a Windows Desktop screen even if things haven't loaded?

I just timed mine an it took 40.81seconds from power on to desktop.
P4 2.0@3.0
Asus P4PE/L
1024MB PC2700 DDR
Windows XP Home

just timed it at 36 seconds, which i believe is within normal range for winxp machines.

specs: 1024 mushkin 2.5cl and a 2.4c proc

Did you use a program or stopwatch to get a 40.81 timing?

BTW: This is post number 2001 for me, and I just went Platinum too! Look to the left!!!!!!!!!!

umm, my toshiba satelite 1110 2 ghz celeron lappy takes 9 secs to load lol (after hibernating :p) running winxp home..

~ 15 sec after initializing raid array bios....
Damn promise raid bios takes longer to load up than XP....

EDIT: oops forgot, see my system rig in signiture.... :)

11 seconds to load windows to login screen not including bios time, 14 seconds with bios time, 21 seconds from bios to desktop loaded. I keep my hd well defragged and keep my start up apps clean :)
