I think it's awesome how God gets across His principles even through people who don't believe in Him.

I was just thinking how awesome it is that Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva get across their principles through false religions myself.

I believe there is a Logos/Word/Voice, a true, non-local, non-physical unifying, personal, connecting principle. I believe that "Logos" is the "bigger idea" or "general revelation" behind all of the best and brightest ethical belief systems and world views.

I believe that Voice showed us the Unseen, Eternal Reality in the Seen Form of a Human.

I believe most of those who saw that Reality in a Form they couldn't deny decided that they don't like Reality. After all, it is so much easier to live in our own self-made world view. So we crucified it.

I believe that perhaps this Voice that shows us Reality is somehow hard of hearing. You would think it would have gotten the message the first time we killed it and left us alone a long time ago.

I believe that this Voice must be either very dense or very committed to us.

Maybe we are dense and hard of hearing. Maybe in crucifying the Voice, we crucify ourselves. So I tell myself to listen very carefully and I pray that the Voice will not stop speaking.

A few micro-seconds later, I come back to my cocoon and say: Lets all go back to our video games now. Where's the latest babe thread? :)

I believe that I am a human. Like most other species, humans' purpose is to exist. We havn't figured out how to perfect existance so eventually we die. Due to this circumstance, the best use of life is to perfect existance or to ensure a prolonged existance for the next generation of humans.

I do neither of these, because my culture has bred me to believe that the only thing important in this world is money and power. Ignoring the fact that eventually I will die and neither my money nor my power will save me. I am lazy and selfish.

Someday when I am neither lazy nor selfish, perhaps I will do something to prolong the existance of the next generation.

I am somewhere between an agnostic and an atheist. I dont believe that there is a god, but at the same time I acknowledge the fact that there is no way I can be sure.

For corn:

I believe that Gore won.

Pliable, I wasn't making fun of your belief I was corroborating it.

Athanasius, I got a thread going about problems you run into on your way to save the world. Seems to me tha your video games babe threads vs something a bit deeper might qualify as an issue if you'd care to add it. I was thinking about Pacfanweb contempt for the topic, his sig about the 2000lb bomb and his seeming indifference to one that went off just a few posts before. Ah me.
