What are you up to this evening?

I'm about to smoke this

posting way too much in the "power's off" thread.

Also considering putting together a pony post, and trying out a new (to me) anime series. (Death Note)

Watching pages slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwly load here, taking care not to attempt to load two pages at the same time, else they'll both time out. I've exceeded my bandwidth for the rolling 30 days (satellite), and have to wait til I'm down to 70% before I resume my "high" speed connection.

I was given a laptop & ipad for the summer - and told it was set up so that no matter where I was at, as long as I had a connection, they'd be able to send me updates. I cannot turn of my email - it automatically retrieves that, as well as all attachments (some of which are quite large.) I haven't played with either in a while, but when turning one on earlier, I was wondering "wtf are all these applications that are loading?" - dozens upon dozens of apps; plus all sorts of stuff on the macbook pro. Videos? Sending me videos?! Thanks. I have 30 gigs of bandwidth. I usually stay a little under the cap. This pushed me well over (or would be well over, if everything finished loading.) I'm lucky that I can even get on here; most sites (simple example: facebook) time out.

Time to dig and install your own fiber

We have some guy who got some grants to put in a few wireless towers for broadband. I looked at the terms of service and he copied and pasted them word for word from a webhosting company. I sent him an email requesting the terms of service for the broadband and he pointed me there. I attempted to correct him, explaining that I wanted broadband, not webhosting - I already have a webhost. Apparently, that's too technical for him & he ceased responding.

They have internet down there? Did Paul Cegila bring the bandwidth?

Went to the gym earlier, chatted with girl I'm dating on phone, going to eat a little something, read for a while, then go to bed. Listening to music, chill night.
