I just finished Arabian Sands by Wilfred Thesiger and started to read Personal Narrative of a Pilgrimage to Al Madinah and MeccaPersonal Narrative of a Pilgrimage to Al Madinah and Mecca by Robert Burton but it's kind of boring right now. I'll eventually get through it but I started A Life of My Choice by Wilfred Thesiger for now.

I am almost done with The House of Morgan going to move on to Liars Poker next. I was also going to read Greenspan's Bubbles, but the fricking book was 200 pages with size 20 font for 22 bucks, screw that!

World Without End by Ken Follet, the sequel to The Pillars of the Earth. I'm really amazed at how good a writer Follet is. These books are great. His talent is usually wasted writing mindless thrillers.

I just bought a set of The Hobbit and The Ring Trilogy off of Craigslist. Haven't read them in 25 years or so and am really digging The Hobbit so far.

Hitler's Secret Banker: The Myth of Swiss Neatrality

amazing book. pretty much shows how the swiss funded the nazi war regime, knowingly accepting stolen goods. If not for the swiss, WW2 would have been much shorter.

Just ordered the the most recent Steve Berry book, The Venecian-something. I should get it soon. I tried reading the Icracus Agenda by robert ludmun, but i just couldn't get into like i did with some of his other books.

I've about halfway through Freakonomics. Pretty decent so far.

Just got Jim Cramer's "Stay Mad for Life" for Christmas which looks like it'll be interesting. A book on the basics (and more) of personal finances would be helpful for me since I'm early in my career, and have just become available for my 401(k) through work.
