1. What are you reading right now? Title of book, author, genre, description if you like (no spoilers please)
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry into Values by Robert M. Pirsig

2. Like it/dislike it?
I want to like it, I hope to like it....

3. Anything you're planning on reading next?
I have a bunch of books sitting around waiting to be read, but not sure which I'll tackle first. They are:
Life of Pi
The Prince
The Matrix & Philosophy: Welcome to the Desert of the Real
Trainspotting
Thus Spoke Zarathustra
& some more of Nietzsche's works.

LOL are you really reading those, or are you just listing them to show how well-read you are? For somebody who has just discovered Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, that's quite a list. What other philosophical books have you read?

Yes that's exactly it, I'm posting all of them to brag about how well read I am...

LOL oh please. You've never heard of one of the most popular philosopher until you played a game... yet you're going to have me believe that you somehow discovered Machiavelli and are going to read it leisurely? LOL right. You probably went to Amazon and copied somebody's reading list.

So I have to be philosophically knowledgeable and educated to read these books?
I cannot read them just because I want to?

So since I did not hear of Nietzsche till "playing" a video game, I cannot read his stuff also?

I'll be sure to get your permission next time I want to read a book

Please

I didn't say you needed permission or you can't read it... i just find it hard to believe that somebody who has never heard of ONE OF THE GREATEST PHILOSOPHERS in the world, is all of a sudden reading a list of such deep books. Tell me, what other philosophical books have you read?

I'm currently reading three different books, and just finished "Catcher in the Rye"

Reading: "Silent Warrior" by Charles Henderson
"'Tis" by Francis McCourt
"Jack the Ripper: Case Closed" by Patricia Cornwell
