What are you paying for your DSL service?

I think I am getting ripped.

I've generally used GTE (now Viagra, er Verizon), but looking through my bills I see that they have been playing games. I started with the Silver package (384/384) for hosting @ $59 for the line and $69 for ISP. I now see that sometime in the last 2 months they switched me to the Bronze+ package (768/128) @ 32.50 for the line. However, to keep their profits, they raised ISP to $79.

Thats almost as much as I was paying for the small business Gold package (768/768) @ 159 (total) back in Tampa.

How much are you all paying, or more importantly, how badly am I getting ripped off.

I'm pissed enough to break my 1yr lease. They can't jerk me around and expect me to stick with them. I'm pissed! :|

I should be getting my dsl modem from Bellsouth sometime this week... in which case I'll be paying $40/month for 1.5/256 ADSL. If I got that from anybody else other than Earthlink it would be priced about $79/month. I don't see why they would switch you from 384/384 SDSL to 768/128 without your permission.. unless ofcourse they found out that they had problems at their end and you were never really getting the full 384 up...

60 for line and esp from some crappy company called NetAccess. otherwise known as NotAccess or NutAccess. that's for 384 service, too. what a joke.
