what are you looking forward to after work today?

I get to meet a friend's newly acquired mini Dachshund. And later I'm going on a date with an old college friend. Good start to a weekend 🙂
 
I may well take a nap; only got about 3 hours of sleep last night. After that, I'll write some material, maybe go out and play pool or hit up the club scene, unless I'm exhausted, in which case I'll play some GTA4 or TF2. Actually a relaxed evening does sound like just what the doctor ordered... Corona, maybe some Patron, and more porn than you can shake a stick at.
 
When I was still able to work, I always looked forward to coming home and playing some games to get the day's frustrations out, while drinking a mountain dew. Every few weekends we would have a LAN party, and that was the best of times.
 
Going to the Games Workshop in Danvers to work on some of my models. Maybe play a game while there. Then going home for some Mass Effect/beer goodness and much needed sleep.
 
I'm so not looking forward to driving into Manhattan at the crack of rush hour. I know that's what you were asking.
 
poker tournament. guy hosts it at his place and its a monthly deal but i couldnt make it last month. the previous month was my first time playing and i finished 3rd. decent sized field (around 30-40) and playing people ive never met; so hope to do as well if not better this time. also, laker game on at 6pm and peavy pitching at 7pm.
 
Looking forward to going home and spending some time with my daughter. My day at work has been horrible, so seeing her will make everything better. All she has to do is smile.

I also plan on having a few beers when she finally goes to sleep tonight. Maybe read my book if nothing good is on TV.
 
A friend is coming over tonight and she's bringing a bottle of wine, so we'll probably get drunk and watch stupid movies and whatnot. Always a good time with her.
