What are you guys drinking tonight?

Enjoying a (slightly thicker than normal) finger of port while watching the Senators-Canadians hockey game and having fun with Habs fans on Twitter. 🙂

I just had my first cup of Pumpkin Spice coffee for the season. Yeah I'm old 🙂

In a few I'm going to make a cup of Earl Grey...hot and go watch some Star Trek. Big day of football tomorrow!

damn...that sounds good.

Just water here.

It's not bad. This particular batch is from BigLots, and it was originally Aldi stock. The Ginger Peach flavor isn't quite as strong as I like. I use 4 bags for 2 quarts of water. My preferred ginger peach uses 2 bags of Stash green tea/ginger peach blend, and 2 bags of plain green tea. The flavor comes through much stronger, even while use half as many flavored bags. I don't use sugar in it. I started making flavored teas after my daughter got diabetes, and I've really lost my taste for sweet drinks. I'll drink the occasional Coke, but that's about it.

We rarely drink soda pop around here. (used both words so folks on both sides of the country would know what I meant 😛) Once in a while, if we stop for fast food...I don't think we've had any soda in the house since last spring. (my wife bought some to put in my lunch box when I was working)

I like iced tea, but get tired of the normal crap...Constant Comment is OK, but just OK.

I like the "fruit flavored" teas, IF they're made with real fruit, not just some flavoring additive.

If you brew your own, or are inclined to, Celestial Seasonings flavored teas work well mixed with plain black or green tea bags. Lemon Zinger mixed with black is a favorite of mine. My daughter likes peppermint with green tea. I also like Earl Grey a lot. I scored a bunch of 100ct boxes of Twinings Earl Grey from BigLots for $4 a box, and I make both iced and hot tea with them. The usual price is a bit expensive for iced tea imo, but it's still cheaper than buying soda for the house.

Pepsi MAX

It's like pepsi only more so, like pepsi to the max, like pepsi squared with a hint of dirt. Well, more than a hint. It's more like someone walked past my glass of pepsi and chucked dirt in it.

Not a fan of most peppermint teas, and I can't stand Lemon Zinger. (not a fan of most things lemon) The "herbal teas" don't usually do it for me...I want "TEA," not a bunch of herbs and flowers...😛

We bought several bags of this the last time we were on Maui:

Very nice passion fruit flavor in a good strong black tea.

Normally, if I want a fruit-flavored tea, I add a bit of juice to the tea after it brews in the sun. Peach is one of my favorites.
