Navigon 2100 doesn't come with lifetime traffic.

Nothing, B. Friday is a farce now, there are virtually no good deals, it's all bullshit 'deals'

Being rather broke and disappointed in the deals this year I will not be going out to purchase anything. Plus I have to work Friday night and that would make for a long shift if I got up in time for the deals.

I am not going to buy anything either. I have enough stuff for the time being.

Let's see, things I could possibly want:

Monitor
Graphics card
Processor
PSU
Joystick

Hmmm...I have a new monitor and my 8800 GT came yesterday. My 3700+ is still holding up pretty well, and my PSU seems to be taking the strain (although I'm looking at an auction on ebay for a new one). My Saitek Cyborg Evo is becoming a bit iffy, but that's fixed by turning down the sensitivity. Nope, no lines for me.

I already got in on the HD-DVD w/10 movies deal at Best Buy a few weeks ago. There's nothing I really want on BF, except maybe GPS.

Otherwise, it's a pretty lackluster BF, compared to the Wii/PS3 craze from last year.

Got my wife the KitchenAid 6-Quart Mixer from Amazon for $249.99 AR. Normally $400. Early Christmas present, she's estatic.

Yay food :D

The BB laptops sounded like a good deal, and on the way home last night (around 1030) I swung by the store (which happens to be right across the street from my place) and the line was already 30-50 people deep. At that rate I said F it - not worth it. I checked out the front window around 2am, and the line was wrapped around the side of the building. Those poor idiots sitting out for 8 hours in near 0 degree temps - hope it was worth it to save a few bucks!

Going shopping for things I need, doubt they'll be on sale. I consider myself and my time worth more than the proles who go out today and wrestle other proles for a few dollars off their precious possessions, so I will not do anything special in B&M. Maybe pick something up online if I come upon it.

Slick D on West Ave has one for $140, no sales tax either. I'd go that route instead.

I bought a TomTom-ONE LE GPS online @ BestBuy yesterday morning for 119.29 shipped (and I already got shipping notification). I pity the fools who tried to get one this early morning at the store when they could've done it yesterday from the comfort of their keyboards.

Spent $1300 on a pair of washer and dryer. It's amazing how quickly $1000 turns into $1300 after tax, delivery, accessories, and extended warranty. Also keeping my fingers crossed that I somehow scored the Navigon through Staples.com.
Oh yeah, also bought Futuresex/Loveshow DVD for my wife :D She's a big fan.

So is our economy in the shiitter? Local news reporting that malls are less crowded and people buying fewer things. Anecdotal of course, but hmm . . .

pun intended? :p

Thanks, I might get one off amazon. Guess I could always check first...I really don't think they'd have any though, unless they restock throughout the day. Guess there's shipping at amazon with orders under $25 also.

No, our economy is fine. Just more people buying online and avoiding the crowds. Like me.

I saw Toys R Us was selling a Wireless guitar hero controller for the PS2. Don't remember what brand it was, probably some third party thing...wonder if it's crap or not. Probably sold out now anyhow.
