So far I haven't found I'm interested in and is worth standing in line or fighting the crowds for. Maybe I'll just stay home and watch football.

I was planning on getting a 40"+ LCD but not sure if I want to deal with the craziness. I'm thinking there will be just as good deals all the way up to Xmas.

Nothing.

After last year, I have vowed to never go out again on that wretched day.

Thinking about an HD DVD player - The A3 for $170. But I honestly think that will be the standard price in a few months anyway. I'm not going to wait in line at 5am to save $30 I can tell you that much though.

I am going to work, then I am gonna go visit my Mom, Aunt, cousins, brother, and grandparents and have a nice dinner with them.
Stores I will not be going to. Though I did make a purchase from Newegg Today ..... which is not too far from BF (new digicam for the GF)

Absolutely nothing, at least from B&M stores. I do not want to go out at all on that day, especially down to Peach Street, where Erie's big shopping district is. That section of it is at least 6 lanes wide, and it's a traffic nightmare on a regular day. Black Friday - I can only hope that they've got police standing by for some kind of traffic control, or it's going to be completely gridlocked.

I've been hoping for the last 4 months or so to get a laptop on bf, but the deals aren't nearly as great as I hoped for. Same goes for a portable dvd player.

It would take an absolutely killer deal (like $500 off) for me to battle the hordes of shoppers at 5 AM on Black Friday.

Unfortunately, I want a 40+ inch HDTV for Christmas, so I guess that I'll be out there :(

Nothing. Haven't even looked at the ads. Although I might consider buying a laptop if P.C. Richard & Sons has one. Don't know about last year, but two years ago they had one that was comparable to the BB/CC laptops for a similar price, but it was NOT limited quantities. I was able to go in at 9:00 p.m. and order one and pick it up the next week. P.C. Richard and Sons.

I've never waited outside a store before they opened and I don't intend to do it for Black Friday. I hate crowds, I hate people, and I hate lines. It's not worth it to save some money.
