I dunno, Lola, I'd be pretty happy with a Kitchenaid stand mixer. I've always wanted one.

I can't say what I'm getting my spouse, on the off chance he actually reads this thread.

LOL! i know, personally though, i think christmas should be a time to give something that the recpient would not think about getting themselves. not that a kitchen aid mixer is a bad idea, i think thats the BEST mixer out there, i just personally would not want one for christmas, especially if i had the chance of getting a nice necklace or bracelet or something. again, thats just me. Plus, we really dont get each other things for b-days so its christmas and anniversary for gifts. :)

She got a Honda Shadow 750 to learn on so she can get a Harley in a couple years.

And a bunch of little stuff like Sims2, boots, a jacket, etc...

I got a Harley. :)

 for a woman that can appreciate the pack!

My fiancee is a HUGE Packers fan. That's a great gift idea!

Was it difficult to get tickets, MogulMonster?

Nope, got them through a United Way auction at work. It cost $175 for the pair of tickets. ($75 face value / each)

There are a few ticket sites online that have tickets for just over face value, if you just want to buy them outright. Ebay is a rip-off.

Lots of clothes.
A new keyboard (yamaha)
Crock pot (her idea, not mine)
Blender (she likes icy chick beverages)
20qt roasting oven (her idea, not mine)

I don't know about the rest yet.

I got my GF one of those Kitchenaid mixers a few Christmases ago. She loves it. Last year I got her a complete All-Clad stainless cookware set plus extras (like pot hangers, etc.), and I've gotten her other kitchen appliances in the past, like a Cuisinart, etc. She likes to cook (and is a very good cook :) ), and so she enjoys these things.

I also won't say what I'm getting her for fear that she might decide to lurk and read this thread (she does from time to time), but it's not gonna be kitchen-related this year.
