No discussion with bonehead who tries to put his words in my mouth...

Of course not, you are the intellectually dishonest type of person who will rip into others locales, cultures, and countries without even listing your own!

I've found that the Mossimo tshirts at Target actually fit me nicely and they are usually about $7 apiece. I have a nice stock of them in assorted colors.

I'll take a look. My previous experience with clothes from places like Target and Wal-Mart is that they tend to be extremely wide and loose fitting.

and poorly sewed together. I say if you have an outlet mall nearby go there and pick up dirt cheap name brand stuff. Generally, better known name brand clothes tend to last longer and look better after many washes.

That's true... I bought a pair of $20 shorts at Target. I only got to wear them 3 or 4 times before the seams started coming apart.

My $50 shorts from Eddie Bauer have lasted me several years.

Wrangler and Levi jeans
Dockers pants
Hanes undershirts
Newbalance and Timberland shoes

For T-shirts, Dress shirts, boxers, shorts, and socks: whatever I stumble upon on-sale and I like

Mainly BR or whatever dress shirt that fits at Macys'. I use to buy express shirts, but they look like crap after a few washes.

just curious...and from the sound of it gap/old navy/ br are making a killing
they're pretty good for the basic staples and send out 25-40% off coupons all the time.

I've never found Banana Republic to be worth the money over Gap for stuff like jeans, t-shirts, or sweaters, but I like their dressier clothes more (suits, dress shirts)... I do, however, find Gap to be worth the money over Old Navy. stuff feels more well-made and fits better (at least imo, ymmv)

I also tend to hunt the clearance racks at Urban Outfitters and various outlet stores (I live about 15 minutes away from a gigantic outlet mall... I've gotten some great finds at Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein)
