Jamaican stout. It's good, different than I was expecting though. I was expecting dark, bitter and liquorice. This is sweet and light, needs to be served really cold.

New gin! Tastes a bit like the pink gin you get in cans but without the sweetness. The whole colour changing thing is fun as well! I might have to get some of that food safe glitter!

I’ve been making virgin mojitos at home. They are sweet and refreshing and a great alternative to alcoholic beverages. I am not supposed to drink alcohol during my cancer treatment so I have not had a drop of alcohol since April. Probably won’t have anything through the end of this year. I don’t really miss it and I sleep better.

It was a lot of water. It was double-triple measure of ouzo, and the rest water. I think it's a 16oz glass. Just what I had handy. Didn't feel like pulling out anything special.

That's pretty much me with the Absinthe!
It's fun in the right glass but in the right glass you don't have to get up so often!

I had to explain to the guy in the whiskey shop today why I didn't want a fancy new style "snifter" glass.
I told him that I'll drink it out of my dad's whiskey glasses. He died 20 years ago but it's a nice connection when I pour some out.

I really need to start drinking. It should be a good mixer for the psych meds. [violenting shaking my head inside my head - hence the psych meds.
